Nominations for the annual Inspiring Teacher of English awards 2024 is now opened!
We are looking for English teachers who:
exemplify the use of good spoken and written English
promote learning-focused interaction during English lessons
choose pedagogies appropriate to learners’ readiness, interests and learning profiles
Nomination Process
Nomination forms can be downloaded from www.goodenglish.org.sg. All students, parents of our students, and teachers are invited to send in your nominations to TMJC tmjc@moe.edu.sg for this national award by 6pm on 25 March 2024.

Nominations for the Most Inspiring Tamil Teacher Award (MITT) 2024 is now opened!
The MITT Award is jointly presented by Tamil Murasu, Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee (TLLPC), and the Singapore Tamil Teachers’ Union (STTU).
The award is to recognise teachers who have made significant contributions to the teaching and learning of Tamil (TL).
Nominees should be:
Teachers who nurture students’ interest in TL by using innovative methods to make lessons more interesting and engaging; and
Dedicated and passionate teachers who demonstrate a keen interest in students’ well-being and inspire students to be self-directed and engaged learners.

Nominations of the Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award 2024 is now open!
The Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2024 is jointly organised by the Malay Language Council, Singapore (MLCS), Malay Language Teachers' Association (PGBM), Berita Harian (BH) and the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC).
The annual award aims to recognise outstanding Malay Language teachers who have made significant contributions to the teaching and learning of Malay Language in our local mainstream schools.
This year, awards will be given out under the following categories:
Motivation (less than 10 years in teaching service); and
Role Model (10 years and above in teaching service).
Nominees will be evaluated based on
their ability to instill knowledge, skills and interest in the learning of the Malay language, literature and culture, as well as their care and concern for the well-being of their students.
Nominees must also demonstrate the values of Arif Budiman, a learned person who contributes to society through excellent and exemplary service as an educator.
