United by a love for choral singing, the TMJC Choir welcomes all under the motto "As One Voice, We Sing."
At Tampines Meridian Choir, we believe that music has the power to unite, uplift, and inspire. Guided by our motto, "As One Voice, We Sing," members embark on a shared musical journey where every voice matters and every individual contributes to the harmony of the ensemble. Through a culture of encouragement and mutual support, students develop a deep appreciation for choral singing while forging meaningful friendships and lasting memories.
Under the mentorship of our passionate and experienced Main Conductor, Assistant Conductor, and dedicated CCA Teachers-in-Charge, members receive comprehensive vocal and performance training while growing in character. Beyond developing strong musicianship, students cultivate values such as commitment, humility, empathy, accountability, and respect. Through rehearsals, performances, and collaborative learning experiences, they discover the importance of serving one another, embracing excellence, and contributing positively to the choir and the wider College community.
The Choir CCA actively participates in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentation and performs regularly at a wide range of college and external events, including TMJC Open House, JC1 Orientation, College Day, SONRISA (the College Combined Performing Arts Concert), and community performances. These opportunities allow members to share the joy of music with diverse audiences while representing the College with pride and distinction. United by a love for singing and a spirit of service, the Choir continues to touch hearts and enrich lives through every performance.
