At Tampines Meridian English Drama, we believe that every individual has a story to tell and the potential to captivate an audience. Our members encourage one another to explore their creativity, challenge their limits, and discover their unique voices both on and off the stage. United by a shared passion for theatre, we are committed to bringing meaningful stories to life that inspire, engage, and connect with every audience.
Guided by our experienced drama instructors and dedicated CCA Teachers-in-Charge, students are immersed in the creative process of acting, script interpretation, stagecraft, directing, and theatre production. Beyond honing their theatrical abilities, members develop important values such as empathy, integrity, resilience, respect, and collaboration. Through every rehearsal and production, students learn to communicate with authenticity, appreciate diverse perspectives, take ownership of their roles, and support one another in achieving a shared artistic vision.
The English Drama CCA actively participates in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentation. Members also stage their own drama productions and perform at a variety of college events, providing authentic opportunities to showcase their creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic growth. Through these experiences, students gain confidence both on and off the stage while discovering the transformative power of theatre to connect, inspire, and make a meaningful impact on the community.
